The Geography of the Party

Geographically, the Somali Social Unity Party operates in all the territories that were once under the control of the former Democratic Republic of Somalia. The party welcomes all agreements and laws established for existing and emerging federal member states. The SSUP opened its first regional office in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.

Given the party’s limited resources, it has been gradually opening branch offices in all parts of the country, including the northwest (Somaliland), northeast (Puntland), central, south, and southwest regions of Somalia.
